Meet psilomethoxin, the love child…
Psilomethoxin was initially discovered and synthesized by researchers from the Pasteur Institute, led by Marc Julia, in 1965. The Pasteur Institute, founded in 1887, is a French non-profit center for biomedical research. It was named after Louis Pasteur, who invented pasteurization and vaccines for anthrax and rabies.
Psilomethoxin (4-HO-5-MeO-DMT) is a… tryptamine created in vivo using magic mushroom mycelium. After inoculation, and before the fruiting stage, 5-MeO-DMT is fed into the mushroom substrate, and once the flush comes in, the fruiting bodies contain Psilomethoxin rather than psilocybin or psilocin.
