Mountain Girl, like so many women of the psychedelic Sixties, did so much more than what she’s credited for. “Mountain Girl tells me that when she first met Jerry there were nine people living in the house, all men. This way the women could provide a home and security and comfort and give them space to create, which is what happened.”
