Denver Council President backs safe injection sites for drug users
The Harm Reduction Action Center wants a supervised, safe space for users to use. This would be in an unmarked building where clean instruments would be provided and used ones would be collected.
Denver City Council President … threw his support behind the idea of a safe place for drug users to shoot up … The endorsement came during a public meeting put on by Denver’s Harm Reduction Action Center, the group that is pushing the idea of supervised injection sites.
