Oregon’s psilocybin program… trainer… bankruptcy

Rachel Aidan admitted to the company’s bankruptcy… The puzzling question is: why would this boutique SaaS company, Retreat Guru, from Canada step in to take over a financially distressed U.S. state-licensed psilocybin facilitator training program… one thing’s certain… “Allow me to emphasize”, Johnson said, “Retreat Guru is not an educational program”.

The answer, according to members of the training cohort we spoke to, is that Retreat Guru’s very survival may depend on it… students have begun filing complaints with other bodies, such as the Oregon Attorney General’s office and the Federal Trade Commission… when Synthesis Institute purchased a $3.6 million tract south of Ashland… the company hailed it as the future of psychedelic-assisted therapy in Oregon. Less than two years later, the company is shuttering its operations… took her complaint to the HECC (Oregon Higher Education Coordinating Commission) “because it allowed me to file a complaint directly against Synthesis.
