Psychedelic mushroom dispensaries… continue to operate despite legal challenges
Comparisons are drawn between the struggle for… magic mushrooms and the fight for cannabis. Eugene Oscapella, a criminology professor and lawyer, explains that the police have limited resources and face competing priorities.
“We have stock nearby for emergencies,” said owner Edgars Gorbans, “After the raid, after one hour, the store was fully stocked up and there was customers in there and sales being made.” “We battle through adversity,” said a company spokesperson, who said his name was Reggie Waters. “When you believe in something very strongly, there’s almost no barriers to achieve what you set out to do. “We have a strong focus. We remain committed.” Gorbans said the store was back up and running less than 24 hours after the first search warrant. He called the search warrants “a waste of the court system and taxpayer’s money, that’s all.”
