Of all the entheogens, psilocybin is the oldest and the least toxic. You’d have to consume your body weight in the stuff for it to actually kill you, and you’d have vomited it all up many times over before then.
…I have generally been gentler with myself as if by reflex. I’m far more able to surf the waves of perimenopausal anxiety attacks that had been plaguing me for the last year, even somewhat gracefully. My appetite for lunchtime wine and other chemical perks has massively diminished, and when they do flare up, cravings are easier to manage.
